Katy Perry Starstruck

  •  Unexpectedly I saw Katy Perry at SM Mall of Asia Atrium Last January 21, 2012. After the meet and greet to the lucky winners of her Purr Perfume. She went down the stage and directly went to her fans at the barricade.
  • Job Barallas: KATY PERRY!
  •  She looked at me and raised her left hand and did the wait sign. After that she went infront of me.
  • Katy Perry: Hi! :)
  • Job Barallas: Could I take a picture with you?
  • Katy Perry: Yeah, sure! :)
  •  There's this girl beside me and wanted also to talk to Katy Perry but Katy Perry's attention was with me. I insisted to be beside her but the girl beside me didn't want to move.
  • Katy Perry: Take it easy! Take it easy!
  • Katy Perry: Give me your phone and I'll be the one to take our picture! :)
  • Job Barallas: (dropped-jaw) Oh sure! :)
  •  Hands over the blackberry phone to Katy!
  • Katy Perry: One... Two... Three... Smile! :)
  • Katy Perry: Here's your phone. :) I hope to see you on my concert! ;)
  • Job Barallas: Thank you so much Katy!

Hockey is not my sport but it is my life.

The Manila Black Wolves, Our team joined the Summer Local Hockey Tournament League 3 for bantams and Midget Minor. We just got our hockey jerseys during the competition day itself. That was a glorious moment for all of us because we’re so excited to have our own jerseys. At the back of my jersey there’s J. BARALLAS and 21. Haha! I play for Manila Black Wolves as Defenseman Left Wing. The best thing that you could ever done if you’re a “D” (defense) is to skate backwards and check the opponent on the board. Yeah, pushing by the side/shoulders are allowed. The competition was held at SM Mall of Asia International Ice Skating Rink from April 18 to 19, 2012 versus Manila Hawks. We lost the competition but at least we tried our best and we had so much fun playing.

Last night we had a serious training. Coach told us that if we want to be good hockey players we should have discipline, leadership and camaraderie with one another. Supposedly we’ll go to Hong Kong for the Mega Icebox Ice Hockey Competition 5s but sad to say we’re not that ready for that maybe this mid of the year we could compete to other countries. :)

2 out of 4

Oh well, I took the Big 4 Universities in the Philippines (UP, Ateneo, DLSU & UST) but unfortunately 2 from the 4 Big Universities I passed. Namely, De La Salle University & University of Sto. Tomas. These 2 universities aren’t bad after all since I’m going to take Programs which are Sciences Related to the field of medicine. Honestly I was expecting that result because I went to these universities unarmed or not ready to take the entrance test. Well, I just scanned my old notebooks and that’s it and the rest stock knowledge together with a prayer.

I want to know my UPG (University of Philippines Grade for the UPCAT). Well, calling their admission office will make a difference maybe? So tomorrow I’ll call them and ask my UPG. :\ I do hope there’s a chance or anything… because I really envy those who passed UP.
